MINISTRY NEWS...

IT IS FINISHED!!
​
In 2021, Gracia Ministries began construction of a permanent ministry home in Guatemala. The first phase of construction has been constructing a perimeter wall to secure the property.
​
The perimeter wall is 788 linear feet in length and the bottom portion of the entire wall is made from mortared rocks. Along the front (streetside) of the property, the upper portion of the wall is constructed from metal panels set between stone and concrete columns. On the remaining sides, the upper portion of the wall is constructed with a ferrocement technique (rebar panels covered in chicken wire with concrete applied to both sides).

Construction of the wall has been an act of worship and persistence, and we are THRILLED to announce that as of October 17, 2024… THE MAJOR WORK ON THE WALL IS FINISHED!! Hallelujah Jesus!! Thank You, Lord! Thank YOU to everyone who has prayed and given to the construction of the wall.

SCHOOL IS OUT!!
​
We have finished out our school year at the worship academy. Our students will be enjoying their vacation time from November to February before returning for the next school year. As a special final activity with our students, we watched a movie, shared a snack and played soccer! They REALLY had a great time!
​
Thanks to generous donors, we were also able to take the graduating 6th graders to the water park in our neighborhood. Only two of the ten students had ever been to the water park, and we were tired just watching them run around and enjoy the slides, pools, and water games! They had an AWESOME time!
​
Please pray for our students during their break from school. Pray for their families, for their protection, and that they would continue growing in their faith and their relationship with Christ.
THE LAND PROJECT UPDATE!!
​
As of October 17, 2024 the MAJOR WORK ON THE WALL IS DONE!! PRAISE GOD!! Moving forward we will be doing finish work on some of the sections of the wall, constructing the cabin which will be our home, and constructing a screened-in gazebo that will be a classroom space for our students.
​
