WE’RE BAAAAACCCKKKK!!! This past week we officially went BACK TO SCHOOL and launched the worship academy activities AND English classes with over 150 students in K4-6th grades!
It was so sweet to receive all the hugs and see how excited the students were for our return. Each day the kids would run up and ask if it was “their turn” for the worship academy. The presence of the Lord was so sweet during our prayer and worship times, and watching our students connect with Him is what we love most about our times together.
We have expanded our English classes this year and Sheri, who joined our team at the end of last year, is teaching two English classes to each grade during the week. We know that English is a key that can help our students get better jobs and better support their families in the future. Our students look forward to their English classes each week and enjoy practicing the words they are learning.

WE have had our 2010 Mazda pickup for NINE AMAZING YEARS and it has been through some stuff!! In the past six months, we have had to put over $3,000 in repairs into our pickup and the time has come to “retire” our faithful friend. Moving forward, we will be using the truck as a work truck, and need to purchase a ministry vehicle for our transportation needs.
We are raising $12,000 to purchase a dependable newer model (2015 or newer ) SUV that will serve to move our personnel, students, and meet our daily transportation needs. We need something in good shape (the roads here are ROUGH!), that will be easy to get replacement parts, and will keep us safe as we travel.

THE LAND PROJECT UPDATE!!

As of October 17, 2024 we have a perimeter wall on the property! We are now focusing on finishing work on some of the sections of the wall, constructing the cabin which will be our home, and constructing a screened-in gazebo that will be a classroom space for our students. ​

After getting a roof installed on the cabin in May, we’ve finished the east facing wall on the cabin, filled the spaces between the columns and window frames with rock and mortar, and worked on getting the floor leveled and ready for cement. We’ve also been putting in some extra support columns along the wall which means digging lots of holes and sometimes pulling out giant SURPRISES (rocks)!
